Community Guidelines
Cholbe ("চলবে") is built to empower joyful creative expression and authentic connection across South Asia and the global diaspora. These Community Guidelines apply to every video, comment, livestream, sound, direct message, and profile on Cholbe.
EN: Zero tolerance for hate speech, violence, harassment, or minor exploitation.
BN (বাংলা): বিদ্বেষমূলক বক্তব্য, হিংস্রতা, হয়রানি এবং অপ্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের নিরাপত্তা লঙ্ঘনে জিরো টলারেন্স নীতি প্রযোজ্য।
HI (हिन्दी): अभद्र भाषा, हिंसा, उत्पीड़न और अवयस्कों के शोषण के खिलाफ सख्त नीति।
UR (اردو): نفرت انگیز مواد، تشدد، ہراسانی اور بچوں کے استحصال پر مکمل پابندی۔
AR (العربية): عدم التسامح مطلقاً مع خطاب الكراهية، العنف، التحرش، أو استغلال القاصرين.
MS (Bahasa Melayu): Dasar sifar toleransi terhadap ucapan kebencian, keganasan, gangguan dan keselamatan kanak-kanak.
ID (Bahasa Indonesia): Tidak ada toleransi terhadap ujaran kebencian, kekerasan, pelecehan, dan eksploitasi anak.
ES (Español): Cero tolerancia al discurso de odio, violencia, acoso y explotación de menores.
FR (Français): Tolérance zéro pour les discours de haine, la violence, le harcèlement et l'exploitation des mineurs.
DE (Deutsch): Null-Toleranz-Politik gegenüber Hassrede, Gewalt, Belästigung und Gefährdung Minderjähriger.
1. Minor Safety & Well-Being
We are unconditionally committed to protecting young people. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), grooming, sexualization of minors, or dangerous stunts involving minors will result in immediate permanent account termination, device banning, and automatic referral to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement authorities.
- Accounts of users under 16 default to private, with direct messaging and duet/stitch disabled by default.
- Users under 18 cannot receive virtual coin gifts or host commercial livestreams.
2. Violent Extremism, Terrorism & Harm
Cholbe does not allow depictions, glorification, or incitement of violence, terrorist organizations, or violent extremism. Content promoting self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous activities that could cause severe injury or death is strictly prohibited.
3. Harassment, Bullying & Hate Speech
We celebrate diverse cultures, languages, and beliefs. We prohibit attacks, dehumanization, or incitement of hatred against individuals or protected groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Doxxing, non-consensual sexual content, and persistent cyberbullying will result in immediate strikes and removal.
4. Nudity, Sexual Activity & Adult Content
Cholbe is a general audience entertainment platform. Sexually explicit content, pornography, and depictions of sexual acts are strictly forbidden. Suggestive content may be age-restricted or disqualified from the public recommendation feed ("For You").
5. Strikes, Bans & DSA Statement of Reasons
When a piece of content is flagged or removed, Cholbe applies our progressive 3-strike policy:
Content removed; temporary 24-hour uploading and commenting freeze.
7-day account freeze; profile removed from recommendation feeds.
Permanent ban of user account, associated sessions, and device fingerprint.
In compliance with EU DSA Article 17, affected creators receive an automated Statement of Reasons specifying the exact policy breach, evidence summary, and a direct one-click appeal pathway.
